About this plugin
This Producertech tutorial series functions as a practical masterclass in translating drum and bass production principles into Native Instruments' Maschine ecosystem. Rather than serving as a traditional effects plugin, the course operates as instructional software that teaches producers how to leverage Maschine's sampler, sequencer, and built-in effects chains to construct authentic drum and bass material with professional polish.
DJ Fracture's approach emphasizes Maschine's rhythmic grid capabilities and velocity layer manipulation as core production methodology, demonstrating how the hardware controller's tactile interface accelerates the workflow for programming complex breakbeats and layering bass sequences. The instruction bridges Maschine's sampling capabilities with the genre's foundational production requirements - tight drum programming, sidechain compression techniques, and frequency separation between competing low-end elements.

This material suits intermediate to advanced producers seeking to exploit Maschine's full capabilities within genre-specific contexts. While experienced beat makers will find efficient workflow optimizations, the course assumes working familiarity with Maschine's core interface. Producers transitioning from piano roll based DAWs may encounter a learning curve with the controller-centric methodology.
Within the instructional market, Producertech maintains credible standing through technically detailed breakdowns rather than superficial overview content. This particular series delivers actionable production strategies specific to drum and bass' technical demands, making it valuable reference material for producers committed to Maschine-based production pipelines.
