About this plugin
Ohmforce's combined offering pairs two distinctly capable processors that address complementary aspects of modern sound design and mixing workflows. Ohmicide-S functions as a sophisticated multiband distortion and dynamics engine, grounded in 37 core algorithms that expand into 111 distinct distortion types across various processing modes. The 7-band architecture delivers genuine flexibility for surgical or aggressive tonal shaping, allowing independent processing of frequency ranges with substantial control over compression, expansion, filtering, and feedback generation. This positions it as a credible alternative to tools like FabFilter Pro-MB or Waves C6, though with a distinctly color-centric approach.
Ohmboyz Infinity complements this with advanced delay and modulation capabilities. The dual stereo delay lines and up to 8 configurable taps provide the foundation for complex, evolving textures, while integrated effects - filters, drive, pitch-shift, and reverb - operate within feedback loops rather than as separate stages. Tape, digital, and ducking delay modes offer sonic variety beyond standard delay implementations. The modulation engine generates movement and dimension suitable for everything from subtle spatial enhancement to extreme sound design.

Together, the bundle targets producers and engineers comfortable working with sophisticated tools who value sonic depth over simplicity. The combination excels for detailed mixing tasks requiring multiband control alongside creative delay-based processing, or for sound designers seeking comprehensive modular processing capabilities. These tools occupy a professional tier alongside established names in their respective categories, distinguishing themselves through integration of modulation, feedback, and color-focused signal processing.
