About this plugin
Vital Vocals Collection addresses a fundamental production challenge: injecting organic presence into electronic music without relying on full vocal recordings or time-consuming vocal processing. The plugin bundles 256 curated one-shot vocal hits organized into 16 kit configurations for native integration with Maschine 2, Ableton Live Drum Racks, and Logic EXS24, eliminating the setup friction typical of sample libraries.
The sonic character distinguishes itself through deliberate diversity. Rather than sourcing material from a single vocalist or session, Niche Audio aggregated vocal fragments across their entire catalog, yielding varied tonal qualities, processing styles, and performance characteristics. This heterogeneity proves valuable precisely because it prevents the tonal monotony that plagues genre-specific vocal packs. A producer working in deep house finds usable material alongside someone crafting techno or drum and bass.

The samples themselves prioritize authenticity over polish. You'll encounter processed, effected, and raw vocal textures alongside cleaner cuts. This range accommodates both surgical sound design and textural layering approaches.
The organization into ready-made kits significantly accelerates workflow. Rather than importing individual wavs and manually mapping parameters, producers gain immediate access to intelligently grouped sounds within their DAW's native sampler architecture.
Best suited for electronic music producers seeking efficient vocal layering without committing to full acappella packs, Vital Vocals Collection functions as a pragmatic utility tool. It won't replace dedicated vocal recording or processing chains, but as a source of quick organic texture and harmonic interest, it performs its intended function competently and with minimal friction.
