About this plugin
Deep Tone by Niche Audio is a sample collection and kit expansion designed for Maschine and Ableton Live that draws its aesthetic from contemporary and classic deep house production. The package contains 15 distinct kits organized around a cohesive sonic palette: 13 primary kits plus 2 specialized collections focused on synth tones and effects. Each kit provides 16 samples covering processed drums, percussion, pads, chords, sub-bass elements, processed vocals, and effects.
The collection's strength lies in its sonic consistency and production-ready integration. All samples come pre-mixed with compression and effects processing already applied, reducing the need for additional sweetening while maintaining flexibility for individual kit elements. The inclusion of 120 patterns and 13 project files serves a dual purpose - they demonstrate how the kit components interact within a mix while providing working templates for producers developing their own material.

The sonic character leans toward the slower, groove-oriented end of house music, with particular influence from contemporary artists like Dusky and Hot Since 82 alongside foundational deep house references. The emphasis on sub-frequencies and textural elements like glitched vocals positions this as a tool for producers working in the 110-125 BPM range.
Deep Tone is best suited for producers already working within Maschine or Ableton Live who value cohesive, professionally-engineered sample sets over individual sound design. The collection's approach to pre-processing and kit organization makes it particularly valuable for those seeking to accelerate production workflow without sacrificing sonic quality or maintaining stylistic consistency across projects.
