About this plugin
Muze Audio's Max & Neo Bundle consolidates nearly 40 instruments into a single comprehensive sample library, totaling 290 GB of lossless-compressed content across 390,000 samples. The collection spans vintage analog synthesizers, modern drum machines, acoustic and synth basses, pianos, strings, brass, woodwinds, and percussion, alongside a curated effects section featuring compressors, delays, reverbs, limiters, cabinet simulations, and multi-band equalizers.
The bundle's architecture centers on Kontakt compatibility, with custom user interfaces designed to provide intuitive control over sonic parameters across disparate instrument types. The included Aquamarine instrument exemplifies this approach, offering 2,400+ presets built from over 37,000 individual samples, positioned as a hybrid synth tool for cinematic and atmospheric work. This thematic consistency across the library suggests a coherent design philosophy rather than a collection of disparate products.

For working composers, film scorers, and sound designers working within Kontakt-based workflows, the bundle provides genuine value through breadth and sample quality. The acoustic instruments - particularly the string and woodwind ensembles - appear designed with orchestral mockup work in mind, while the synth-oriented products address electronic and hybrid composition. The 30 integrated effects processors cover essential mixing and sound design tasks without requiring external plugins for basic signal chain operations.
The approximately 90% cost savings relative to purchasing individual products suggests this bundle targets professionals seeking comprehensive instrument coverage rather than specialists pursuing specific sonic character. It functions best as a primary sound source library and secondary mixing tool rather than as a destination for distinctive sonic character.
