Oxide is a curated metal sound effects library from Minimal Audio that assembles 60+ processed percussion and textural elements sourced from physical metal objects. The plugin's core strength lies in its production methodology: the team recorded raw material from scrap metal, antiques, and bowed metals, then applied rigorous signal processing to transform these recordings into usable, mix-ready assets. This approach yields a character distinct from purely synthetic metal sounds - there's an organic complexity beneath the polished, cinematic veneer.

The library divides into four functional categories: 15 rhythmic loops that range from understated metallic textures to propulsive patterns; 14 one-shots for discrete impacts and tonal elements; 15 impact sounds optimized for stabs and punctuation; and 20 atmospheric pads that blur the line between textural sound design and ambient accompaniment. All content ships as 24-bit/44.1kHz WAV files, totaling 360 MB across 64 audio files.
