About this plugin
CUBE stands out as a genuinely distinctive sampler and vector synthesizer that merges sample manipulation with unconventional sound morphing. Rather than relying on traditional wavetable or subtractive synthesis, the plugin's core innovation lies in its 3D vector orbit system, which continuously blends between up to eight simultaneously-loaded sound sources. This approach generates evolving, textural results that sit between granular processing and sample blending - particularly useful when you need ambient motion without conventional modulation.
The bundle ships with 250+ sampled instruments spanning analog synths, orchestral elements, percussion, and processed field recordings, paired with 1,000 presets. The eight sample editors provide genuine control over playback behavior through reverse, loop, and arpeggiation modes, while the modulation architecture - featuring four LFOs, a macro control layer, and a mod matrix - enables complex parameter automation. The effects section covers standard ground with reverb, delay, and distortion, though these are competent rather than exceptional implementations.

CUBE suits producers working in ambient, electronic, and genre-blending contexts where textural evolution matters more than traditional synthesis. Film composers and sound designers will find particular value in the morphing capabilities. However, those seeking deep subtractive synthesis or extensive sampler editing should look elsewhere; CUBE optimizes for quick inspiration and morphing rather than granular sample editing.
Among vector-based tools, CUBE occupies an accessible middle ground - less complex than dedicated wavetable synths but more musically direct than many granular processors. It succeeds best when used for atmospheric layers, pad generation, and adding morphing movement to arrangements.
