About this plugin
The Professional - Cinematic Soul & Funk represents a thoughtfully curated collection from producer Adam Gibbons, compiled and engineered specifically for producers seeking authentic soul textures within a modern production context. Recorded with accomplished session musicians at Middle Farm Studios and mastered at 24-bit, 44.1kHz, the library prioritizes tonal warmth and dimensional depth over sonic sterility.
The collection comprises six song kits organized across 703 MB of material, with particular strength in live drum programming - 28 loops capture genuine pocket and dynamics that feel responsive to arrangement rather than robotic. The supporting instrumentation balances specificity with versatility: 22 keys loops and 13 synth loops provide harmonic foundation options, while 15 electric bass loops and 13 synth bass lines offer distinct tonal territories. Horn arrangements (9 loops) and string textures (18 loops) lend cinematic weight, the guitar work (13 loops) adds textural interest, and mixed percussion elements support rhythmic complexity.

Operating across 72 - 152 BPM, the library serves multiple production contexts effectively - hip hop, funk, downtempo, and house producers will find relevant material, though the soul emphasis remains consistent. The processed FX loops (5 total) and additional percussion elements suggest the contents have been recorded with production utility in mind rather than capturing raw sessions.
For engineers comfortable with loop - based composition or those seeking to supplement sample libraries with genuine recorded material, this collection offers reliable building blocks. The production quality is evident, though users should approach it as a starting point requiring arrangement skill and additional layering rather than finished sonic solutions.
