About this plugin
The KORG Collection 6 represents a comprehensive expansion of KORG's software synthesis ecosystem, now encompassing three landmark instruments that shaped synthesizer design across three decades. This crossgrade edition provides existing KORG product owners access to the complete suite at a reduced entry point, making it an economical choice for producers already invested in the company's plugin ecosystem.
The collection's sonic foundation rests on three pillars: the PS-3300, one of analog synthesis's rarest instruments, has been reconstructed with meticulous physical modeling that captures its characteristic thick, complex oscillator interactions and filter character. The TRINITY, KORG's touchscreen pioneer from 1995, brings its distinctive warm, lush PCM-based synthesis to the DAW, retaining the sonic signature that defined 1990s pop and R&B production. The SGX-2 piano engine delivers concert grand sampling with exceptional articulation and sympathetic resonance modeling.

This collection targets producers seeking authentic vintage synthesis without vintage equipment's space and maintenance demands. The PS-3300 particularly appeals to those pursuing complex, dense pad work and experimental synthesis, while TRINITY suits songwriters requiring reliable, professional-grade sonic character in compact form. The SGX-2 serves pianist-composers requiring nuanced dynamic response and organic tonal depth.
Sonically, the Collection 6 maintains KORG's reputation for accuracy in emulation. The crossgrade pricing acknowledges that upgrading users already understand KORG's sonic philosophy, making this an efficient expansion for producers seeking historical synthesis comprehensiveness and professional sound quality within a single, integrated interface.
