About this plugin
The Exponential Audio 3D Reverb Bundle addresses a genuine technical gap in immersive audio production. Comprising Stratus 3D and Symphony 3D, these plugins are purpose-built for spatial audio workflows where traditional stereo reverbs fall short. Stratus 3D handles the foundational work with up to 24-channel support across Atmos, Auro 3D, and other immersive formats. Its strength lies in generating articulate, dimensionally precise reflections without the muddiness common in multichannel reverb design. The architecture separates early reflections and reverb tail processing with independent EQ filtering on each, allowing granular control over spatial tone. The Balance module's channel-specific delay and level controls enable realistic vertical and horizontal reflection placement, critical for convincing height channel integration in immersive mixes.
Symphony 3D complements this foundation by introducing modulation and dynamic character, transforming Stratus's clarity into richer, more colored spatial environments. This dual-plugin approach gives engineers both surgical and creative options within a single workflow.

The bundle is essential for post-production facilities mixing for Atmos or advanced surround formats, where pristine reverb articulation directly impacts dialogue intelligibility and object placement. It's equally valuable for music producers working in immersive formats, where the plugins' 1,700+ presets provide starting points without sacrificing parameter depth. While the learning curve is steeper than standard reverbs, the technical implementation rewards familiarity. Among immersive reverb options, the 3D Reverb Bundle represents mature, industry-proven processing rather than experimental spatial tools.
