About this plugin
Gravity 2 represents a significant evolution in Heavyocity's approach to cinematic sound design, functioning as a comprehensive effects and sound design suite rather than a conventional plugin. The toolset draws from professional scoring workflows, delivering 144 tempo-synced rhythmic loops, over 250 single-shot sounds, and 36 layered impact presets organized by frequency range (Sub, Mid, Tail). This architecture allows producers to construct complex sonic palettes through selective blending rather than relying on preset convolution.
The plugin divides its textural resources into three functional categories. Tonal textures serve melodic and harmonic purposes, Atonal elements generate unsettling atmospheric tension, and Modal options provide harmonic anchoring without melodic declaration. Transition effects exist in both tonal and atonal variants, split between low and high frequency ranges for surgical placement in mixes. The approach assumes users understand frequency masking and layering principles, making it particularly suited for post-production professionals, electronic composers working in soundtrack contexts, and producers seeking granular control over impact design.

Technically, Gravity 2's strength lies in its modular organization and sample library quality. Rather than processing audio through algorithmic effects chains, it functions as a curated collection of production-ready elements designed to integrate seamlessly into existing mixes. This positions it alongside tools like Spitfire Audio's percussion libraries and Output's movement-focused plugins, though with distinctly darker sonic character and greater emphasis on impact construction.
