About this plugin
GRAVITY stands as a purpose-built virtual instrument engineered for contemporary film, television, and game audio production. Unlike general-purpose synthesizers, it consolidates specialized scoring elements - pads, risers, hits, and stings - into a cohesive interface, eliminating the workflow fragmentation typical of multi-plugin approaches. The 12GB sound library reflects contributions from Heavyocity's in-house composers, whose credits span major motion pictures including Interstellar and Godzilla, lending the presets immediate professional credibility.
The instrument's distinguishing feature is MOTION, a modulation system offering tempo-synced control over volume, pan, and pitch with customizable sequencing. Pattern Chainer and the Volume Modulator extend possibilities beyond preset variations, enabling rhythmic textures and evolving pads with minimal additional processing. The DESIGNERS subsystem provides granular control over hybrid elements: Hits decompose into four layers (sub, impact, tail, whoosh), while Risers offer three-layer stacking of organic, synthesized, and effects components.

Sonically, GRAVITY operates in the lush, orchestral-adjacent territory established by Heavyocity's earlier instruments. The pads deliver evolved tonality suitable for sustained underscore work, while the hits possess the aggressive, heavily-processed character expected in modern trailers and action sequences. The risers prioritize clarity and definition rather than murky spectral layering, making them functional within dense mixes.
GRAVITY best serves scoring professionals and hybrid composers requiring pre-production tools with established sonic polish. Its architecture assumes intermediate-to-advanced familiarity with modulation and sound design principles, positioning it alongside RX Suite and Omnisphere as a specialized rather than foundational investment.
