About this plugin
Bloom Palette Object stands as a distinctive entry point for producers seeking to inject organic texture into electronic compositions. Rather than functioning as a conventional effects processor, this instrument operates as a sample sequencer and sound design tool that pairs professionally recorded foley, household objects, and world instruments with Excite Audio's custom sequencing engine.
The core appeal lies in its hybrid approach to sound sourcing. The library bridges conventional musicianship - vibraphone, upright bass, taishogoto - with unconventional acoustic capture including velcro, glass bottles, and mechanical ratchets. This dual sourcing proves particularly effective for artists working in genres that demand textural complexity without sacrificing rhythmic precision, making it especially relevant for those influenced by Four Tet's sample-based aesthetics or Burial's lo-fi abstraction.

Technically, the sequencer enables both one-shot triggering and loop layering with independent pitch and modulation controls. The instrument includes three effects processors and four macros for real-time parameter mapping, allowing producers to evolve static sounds into evolving soundscapes. The ability to import custom samples transforms it from preset-dependent tool into a personalized production environment.
Bloom Palette Object occupies a middle ground between traditional drum machines and granular synthesis tools. It excels for producers who favor iterative experimentation over preset browsing, though its learning curve may deter those seeking immediate gratification. Compared to standalone sample sequencers, the integrated effects and macro system offer sufficient sound design depth for complete track development, positioning it as a versatile songwriting instrument rather than a supplementary texture layer.
