About this plugin
Excite Audio's upgrade from Bloom Ensemble Strings Lite to the full version represents a meaningful expansion of an already capable ensemble strings instrument. The upgrade unlocks access to all 250+ presets across seven organizational categories, including the substantial Full Ensembles, Experimental, and Drones collections that provide genuine sonic depth beyond what the Lite version offers. Where the Lite version serves as an entry point, the full instrument delivers the complete orchestral toolkit Excite Audio's sound designers constructed.
The technical foundation remains consistent: multisampled string sections (violins, violas, cellos, basses) routed through four performance macros and three effects processors, allowing real-time sculptural control over ensemble character. The interface prioritizes immediacy without oversimplification - users can engage at the preset level or drill into the modulation matrix for precise articulation control and dynamic shaping.

This upgrade targets producers working across cinematic, ambient, electronic, and pop contexts who found the Lite version's limitations constraining. The expanded preset library removes the repetition constraints of the limited edition and provides immediate textural solutions without requiring deep sound design work. The addition of sample import functionality in the full version adds flexibility for producers wanting to customize ensembles with personal recordings or complementary sources.
Among ensemble string plugins, Bloom occupies competent middle ground between quick-solution sample libraries and deep synthesis instruments. The upgrade justifies itself primarily through preset depth rather than architectural innovation, making it most valuable for producers seeking fast, expression-forward orchestral textures without the learning curve of synthesis-based alternatives.
