About this plugin
The H3000 Factory Mk II represents one of the most comprehensive digital recreations of a classic effects processor ever attempted. Eventide's meticulous modeling of the original H3000 Harmonizer translates its legendary pitch shifting, modulation, and delay algorithms into plugin form with notable fidelity, particularly in the newly redesigned converter and filter sections that capture the harmonic character of the hardware's analog circuitry.
The architecture remains the plugin's greatest strength. The modular design supports up to 18 effect blocks - pitch shifters, delays, modulators, envelope followers, and filters - that can be freely combined and routed, encouraging experimentation while maintaining professional stability. This flexibility has long set Eventide hardware apart from competitors, and the plugin preserves that advantage. The Function Generator with 19 waveforms and assignable macro controls provide substantial automation and modulation depth without overwhelming the interface.

H3000 Factory Mk II is essential for sound designers and music producers who depend on sophisticated pitch manipulation, crystalline delay textures, and character-rich modulation. It's equally valuable for mixing engineers seeking the distinctive color that made the original hardware indispensable in professional studios. The 500+ preset library - including scrupulous recreations of vintage settings alongside modern artist presets - accelerates workflow for those less inclined toward deep patching.
While the plugin's learning curve remains considerable, this reflects the original's complexity rather than poor design. In the landscape of multi-effects software, H3000 Factory Mk II remains unmatched for analog modeling accuracy and architectural sophistication. It commands its price point.
