About this plugin
Cherry Audio's Vector Bundle consolidates four distinct modules designed for Voltage Modular: AirStep, AirVector, AirWave, and Poly AirWave. The collection merges vector synthesis with PCM sample playback and wave sequencing, offering a coherent approach to timbral evolution within modular environments.
AirWave operates as a quad vector oscillator with joystick control, leveraging over 200 looped PCM samples. The vector envelope section allows intuitive morphing between four simultaneous waveforms, while independent outputs per wave enable granular layering and processing. A sample rate control adds lo-fi manipulation capabilities. Poly AirWave mirrors this architecture in a polyphonic implementation, essential for chord-based and melodic work.

AirStep addresses wave sequencing directly, housing over 300 PCM samples with extensive modulation, trigger, and sync routing. Its interface streamlines the construction of evolving sequences that would require substantial patching in traditional synthesis chains.
AirVector functions as a quad mixer with vector control, applicable to any audio signal within Voltage Modular. The combination of joystick morphing and configurable vector envelopes facilitates dynamic mixing that responds to modulation sources.
The sonic character emphasizes smooth timbral transitions and digital texture. Vector synthesis inherently produces continuous transformations between disparate waveforms, avoiding abrupt filtering artifacts. The PCM sample library provides organic and synthetic starting points, though processing through standard modular modules remains necessary for comprehensive sound design.
This bundle suits producers seeking advanced modulation capabilities and those already invested in Voltage Modular's ecosystem. It occupies a specialized niche within digital oscillator design, particularly for evolving pad work and textural synthesis.
