About this plugin
PSP PolyPack is a specialized module collection for Cherry Audio's Voltage Modular that addresses a specific gap in polyphonic synthesis workflow. Rather than functioning as a standalone effects plugin, this collection provides nine utility, processor, and source modules designed to streamline the architecture of polyphonic instrument racks within the modular environment.
The collection centers on envelope and amplitude control with the PolyADSR and PolyEnveloper modules, which handle per-voice modulation with the precision required for complex polyphonic patches. Supporting modules like PolyAmp and PolyBoing manage amplitude and rhythmic triggering, while PolyFilter and PolyFolder handle frequency shaping and waveshaping tasks across multiple voices simultaneously. The PolyWobbler source and eFeMerizer round out the toolkit, providing modulation and character-adding capabilities.

The design philosophy emphasizes simplicity without sacrificing depth - each module maintains an intuitive interface while handling the mathematical complexity of voice management transparently. This approach appeals primarily to modular synthesis enthusiasts who work extensively with polyphonic patches but lack dedicated multichannel solutions in other modular systems.
PSP PolyPack occupies a practical rather than innovative position within the modular synthesis landscape. It's most valuable to users already committed to Voltage Modular who require reliable, well-engineered polyphonic tools rather than those seeking radical sonic possibilities. For producers building sample-based or hybrid arrangements within the DAW, this collection provides professional-grade modulation and processing infrastructure that integrates seamlessly with Voltage Modular's architecture.
