About this plugin
Black Rooster Audio's Control Room Bundle consolidates four essential studio tools designed for mixing and mastering workflows. The collection combines the KH-COMP1 Signature Compressor, Edelweiss '72 Channel Strip, Omnitec-67A Vintage Preamp, and RO-140 Vintage Plate Reverb into a cohesive signal chain that addresses primary mixing challenges across multiple stages of production.
The KH-COMP1 distinguishes itself through Hilbert Transform processing and zero-latency design, delivering unusually fast attack characteristics without the audible artifacts that plague conventional fast-acting compressors. This technical sophistication suits dynamic material requiring transparent control, particularly vocals and drums where traditional compressors introduce noticeable lag. The Edelweiss '72 functions as a comprehensive channel strip, providing the kind of integrated processing workflow associated with hardware console strips, though with digital precision and recall capabilities. Its dynamic character rivals established SSL-style plugins while maintaining the tonal warmth Black Rooster cultivates throughout their product line.

The Omnitec-67A contributes harmonic enrichment through authentic tube saturation modeling, transforming clinical sources into productions with depth and character. The RO-140 Vintage Plate Reverb completes the bundle with spatially convincing room simulation based on classic plate hardware, offering genuine alternatives to digital algorithms.
This bundle appeals to professionals seeking integrated vintage-inspired processing without assembling disparate plugins from multiple manufacturers. Rather than matching competing channel strip bundles point-for-point, the Control Room Bundle prioritizes sonic coherence and technical performance, making it a practical investment for engineers prioritizing mixing efficiency alongside sound quality.
