The plugin captures the instrument's full range with 18 articulations accessible via keyswitch, spanning conventional playing techniques such as sustain, staccato variations, and mordents alongside distinctly regional embellishments including short glissandos, strong vibrato, and a dedicated "special Balkan articulation." Notably, the library includes two tempo-synced approach note groups and a tempo-synced Balkan phrase, allowing articulated melody lines to lock rhythmically with your session without manual timing adjustment.

The sampling approach prioritizes realism over synthesis, with minimal processing at the source. The instrument's character reflects traditional Balkan clarinet performance - breathy articulation, expressive intonation bending, and the warm, slightly woody tone typical of the idiom.
