The library comprises two full-sized bodhráns and two tambourines, including toy variants that expand sonic range from orchestral authenticity to lo-fi character.

The sampling methodology emphasizes performance realism. Each drum was captured across multiple playing techniques - stick strikes, hand strikes, and various gestural approaches - with up to eight round-robin variations per hit and three velocity layers ensuring minimal repetition fatigue across extended passages. The 160 samples recorded at 48kHz / 24-bit resolution provide sufficient resolution for both intimate close-miked character and blended ensemble contexts.

The instrument set functions within Native Instruments' Kontakt framework, offering nineteen custom instruments that balance immediate playability with deeper sound design potential.
