About this plugin
Acoustica Premium Edition represents a meaningful step up from the Standard version, particularly for professionals working in dialogue-heavy production and mastering workflows. The upgrade centers on four deep learning-based dialogue tools that address specific post-production challenges: Extract:Dialogue removes background noise with surgical precision, while DeWind:Dialogue, DeRustle:Dialogue, and DeBuzz:Dialogue target wind noise, lavalier artifacts, and electrical interference respectively. These aren't parametric EQs requiring careful tuning; they're trained models that recognize and isolate unwanted elements in isolation.
The Premium tier also unlocks spectral editing capabilities with advanced retouch algorithms, enabling pixel-level editing of frequency content across time. This proves invaluable for removing clicks, pops, and isolated noise events that resist traditional filtering. Multi-channel support up to 7.1 surround rounds out the technical improvements for mastering engineers working in immersive formats.

The bundled Acon Digital plugins - Restoration Suite 2, Mastering Suite, and Verberate 2 - form a coherent signal chain covering restoration, tone shaping, and spatial processing. The inclusion of the Transfer plug-in streamlines Pro Tools integration for engineers working in hybrid environments.
This upgrade suits mastering engineers, post-production professionals handling dialogue, and restoration specialists who need production-grade tools without building piecemeal plugin collections. The dialogue-specific processing distinguishes it from general-purpose audio editors, though the overall feature set positions Acoustica as a practical alternative to dedicated DAWs for certain workflows rather than a specialized niche tool.
