About this plugin
Acoustica 7 Premium Edition represents a comprehensive toolkit for audio post-production that combines traditional editing capabilities with contemporary AI-driven processing. At its core, the application delivers multitrack editing and restoration work across both Mac and PC platforms, but the inclusion of Spleeter-based stem separation technology marks a significant departure from conventional DAW workflows. The Remix tool intelligently deconstructs full mixes into up to five isolated stems in real-time, a capability that distinguishes it from standard linear editing environments.
The Premium tier justifies its positioning through specialized dialogue processing, including Extract:Dialogue for background noise reduction, DeWind:Dialogue for wind artifacts, DeRustle:Dialogue for lavalier contamination, and DeBuzz:Dialogue for electrical interference. These deep learning models address real production challenges that plague field recording and interview work. Beyond dialogue tools, the spectral editor offers genuine retouch capabilities with powerful algorithms for surgical frequency-domain work, supported by full 7.1 surround multi-channel support.

The bundled plugin collection - Restoration Suite 2, Mastering Suite, Verberate 2, and the Transfer tool for Pro Tools integration - provides a functional ecosystem without requiring third-party solutions for fundamental tasks. Native Apple Silicon support ensures modern system compatibility.
Acoustica serves producers, sound designers, and mastering engineers who value an integrated environment over modular approaches. Its particular strength lies in restoration and stem separation rather than creative synthesis. While it competes against Reaper and Studio One for general editing duties, Acoustica's focused dialogue tools and AI capabilities position it distinctly for post-production and remix workflows where traditional DAWs prove insufficient.
